29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that the employer did not ensure the safety of the equipment pursuant to the considerations in sections (i) through (viii) of 29 CR 1910.303(b)(1). a) On or about May 31, 2016, in Building 210, Warehouse, the conduit did not fully enclose the electrical wiring to the control panels exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. b) On or about May 12, 2016, in Building 155, Layout Department, the conduit did not fully enclose all electrical wiring to the Chicago Shear exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. c) On or about May 31, 2016, in Building 115, Core Department, the cord to the foot pedal for the Meltog #1 machine wiring was exposed exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. d) On or about May 12, 2016, in Building 130, Closures Department, cord to the roller machine had damaged outer sheathing exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
