29 CFR 1910.304(g)(5): Grounding path. The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent, continuous, and effective. a. At the workplace, located near the Powermatic band saw, a Dayton industrial fan, model 5C040J, used for air circulation, had a plug with a missing grounding pin, thereby exposing the employees to electrical shock hazards. b. At the workplace, located in the roll form area, a Milwaukee Sawzall, serial # A66D613060439, used to cut strips of sheet metal, had a plug with a missing grounding pin, thereby exposing the employees to electrical shock hazards.
