29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: The employer does not ensure a program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power and punch presses were established and followed. This violation was observed on or about November 25, 2014, at the facility, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to develop a mechanical power press inspection program.
