29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Building 6, Sutton 3 Extrusion Press Line: Employees used electrical equipment including, but not limited to, a SEW Eurodrive motor, model DRE225S4FE, Serial Number 25 13108409 11 002 14 50, where all unused openings were not effectively closed in the area of the controls and stretching unit, observed on or about 2/24/2017. b) 9000 River Rd, Delair NJ, 08110- Building 11, Shipping: Employees used electrical equipment including, but not limited to, a DeWalt radial arm saw, model 3511, serial number 51970013, where all unused openings were not effectively closed , observed on or about 1/24/2017. c) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Waste Water: Employees used electrical equipment where all unused openings were not effectively closed. Employees used a 4 inch by 4 inch metal knockout box containing 4 receptacles; the opening on the side of the box was covered with tape, observed on or about 3/15/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
