29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about March 18, 2025, the employer used flexible electrical cable as a substitute for rigid metal conduit. The flexible cord was spliced into the bottom of a damaged electrical outlet box and then used to power various electrical equipment including a speaker system and a Drummond 1/2 HP Submersible Sump Pump (Serial No. 371132317) located in the Fabrication Area. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards.
