29 CFR 1910.243(c)(3): Abrasive wheels used on vertical portable grinder(s) (right angle head grinders) were not provided with safety guard(s) having a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and wheel: On or about January 11, 2023, and thereafter, employees engaged in sawmill activities at the worksite located at 33643 MO-6 Brashear, Missouri 63533 were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the employer did not ensure employees using a handheld grinder to conduct grinding and cutting work in the chipper room were adequately protected by utilizing a guard with the equipment.
