29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided: On or about March 17, 2015, in the EPTD and Stamtec Press Areas of Building #1, electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards; adequacy of the protection for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment was not maintained and exposed employees to electrical shock hazards in the following instances; (a) At the Warco Press #59, the flexible conduit protecting the electrical conductors to the two-hand controller was damaged. (b) At the Oak Lam Press #30, the flexible conduit protecting the electrical conductors coming from the press control box and the two-hand controller was damaged. (c) At the Minster Press #60, the flexible conduit coming from a press control box was damaged. (d) At the Stamtec Press #35, the flexible conduit protecting the electrical conductors from the two-hand controller was damaged. (e) At Stamtec Press #32, the flexible conduit and circuit box protecting the electrical conductors to the Metal Reel Loader (Derailer) was damaged. (f) At Stamtec Press #33, the cover to the gear motor and flexible conduit protecting the electrical conductors to the Metal Reel Loader (Derailer) was damaged.
