29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: The employer does not ensure flexible cords are protected from strains, exposing employees to electrical hazards. a) This violation was observed was on or about May 31, 2019, in a room behind the Quick Draw, conduit was pulled away from the mount and hanging by the wires, exposing employees to the electrical hazards. b) This violation was observed was on or about May 31, 2019, behind the Character stand, a pendant box was observed with a strained flexible cord attached to the box, exposing employees to the electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure flexible cords and cables are connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided.
