29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(2): The employer did not ensure that change room facilities at a worksite with chromium (VI) exposures prevented cross-contamination: a) Production Area- Hexavalent Chrome Tank; On or about August 22, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hexavalent chromium hazards, in that the employer does not ensure that the change room facilities prevent cross contamination for employee's equipment and street clothing after batching chromium phosphate. Employees were exposed to hexavalent chromium at levels that exceeded the permissible exposure level (PEL) of 0.005 mg/m3.
