29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m). The employer does not ensure compress gas cylinders of oxygen and acetylene were stored at least 20' apart, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards. a) This violation was observed on or about April 17, 2023, on the west wall of the facility in the middle of the shop, where compressed gas cylinders of oxygen and acetylene were observed with gauges still on and not in use. b) This violation was observed on or about April 17, 2023, on the west wall of the facility in the middle of the shop, where compressed gas cylinders of oxygen and acetylene were observed with gauges still on and not in use.
