29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap: a) On Highway Differential cell: The cord on a pedestal fan had a splice in the power cord, on or about 8/30/16. b) On Highway Work Cell 2: The cord on a pedestal fan had a splice in the power cord, on or about 8/30/16. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
