29 CFR 1910.178(g)(2): Battery charging apparatus for industrial trucks located in battery changing and charging installation was not protected from damage by trucks: a) Warehouse Fork Truck Charging Area - Charger cables were not protected from damage caused by being run over by fork trucks. Cables on the floor had visible damage to the outer rubber cover. On or about 3/7/12. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
