29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(i)(C): All operators and attendants of resistance welding or resistance brazing equipment did not use transparent face shields or goggles, depending on the particular job, to protect their faces or eyes, as required. This violation was observed on or about April 17, 2023, where employees who weld and assist in welding, were observed not wearing protective eye wear, exposing employees to arc flash hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure employees wear the appropriate eye protection during welding operations.
