29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i): Construction, operation, and maintenance of conveyors were not in accordance with American National Standard B20.1-1957. Pulley(s), sprocket(s), sheave(s), drum(s) and block(s) of conveyor(s) were not arranged to prevent the possibility of injury due to hands or parts of clothing being caught between the belt(s) and pulley(s) or chain(s) and sprocket(s), or cable(s) and sheave(s), drum(s) or block(s): (a) Sawmill - On or about October 16, 2019 ingoing nip point between belt and tail drum on the conveyor near head saw tiller's station was not guarded exposing employees to amputation hazard. (b) Sawmill - On or about October 16, 2019 belt and pulley for motor drive on the conveyor near head saw tiller's station was not fully enclosed exposing employees to amputation hazard. (c) Sawmill - On or about October 16, 2019 belt and pulley and chain and sprocket on cutoff saw conveyer were not guarded exposing employees to amputation hazard. (d) Sawmill - On or about October 16, 2019 tail drums, rollers and belt and pulleys on chipper conveyor system were not guarded exposing employees to amputation hazards.
