29 CFR 1910.272(k): Receiving pit feed openings in the grain handling facility, such as truck or railcar receiving pits, were not covered by grates which had a maximum opening width of 2 1/2 inches: At the worksite located at 1315 North 2nd Street Clinton, MO: On or prior to January 29, 2024, employees were exposed to trip hazards. A grate on a receiving located near the 100,000 bushel grain pins had an opening in the grate that measured 3 inches across.
