29 CFR 1915.504(c)(2)(iv): Remain in the hot work area for at least 30 minutes after completion of the hot work, unless the employer or its representative surveys the exposed area and makes a determination that there is no further fire hazard; Bldg. 31C20T, Temporary Fabric Shelter: On and/or before March 14, 2024, employee(s) preformed hot work which included TIG welding and grinding of aluminum metal. The employer did not ensure that fire watch remained in the area for at least 30 minutes after completion of the hot work. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to fire hazard(s).
