29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i):Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): a) On or about January 25, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the electrical components and conductive wiring (480v) of the Cincinnati shear were covered by approved cabinets or enclosures as required. The main electrical panel of the shear did not contain a cover of its box. b) On or about January 25, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the electrical components and conductive wiring (480v) of the metal parts cleaner/ washer were covered by approved cabinets or enclosures as required. The main electrical panel of the shear did not contain a cover on conduit boxes. c) On or about January 25, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the electrical components and conductive wiring (230v) of the conduit box of the washer drum were covered by approved cabinets or enclosures as required. The area did not contain a cover on the conduit box. d) On or about January 25, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the electrical components and conductive wiring (480v) of a main power disconnect were covered by approved cabinets or enclosures as required. The area did not contain a cover on the disconnect box.
