29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven 7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a) Palletizer Line 1: On or about November 7, 2017, and at times prior to, the employer did not ensure that the nip point on a traversing motion sprocket and chain system were guarded where pallets are placed to be stacked with materials. Employees at the palletizer were exposed to amputations and caught in between hazards.
