29 CFR 1910.212(b): Machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were not securely anchored to prevent walking or moving: The employer does not ensure machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were securely anchored to prevent walking or moving, a) This violation was observed on or about December 1, 2014, in the assembly area a Standard press brake was not anchored to the floor, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. b) This violation was observed on or about December 1, 2014, in the louvers area a Niagara punch press was not anchored to the floor, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. c) This violation was observed on or about January 20, 2015, in the louvers area a Rockford press brake was not anchored to the floor, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to securely anchored machinery to prevent walking or moving.
