29 CFR 1910.305(b)(3)(ii): Boxes were not closed by suitable covers securely fastened in place: The employer does not ensure that electrical panels are closed with covers that are securely fastened in place. a) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the carpenter shop, an electrical panel was observed with missing bolts and the cover bent forward, exposing employees to shock hazards. b) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the room behind Quick Draw, a small electrical box was observed with the cover pulled forward, exposing employees to shock hazards. c) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the go-carts maintenance area, a small electrical box was observed with the cover pulled forward, exposing employees to shock hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure that electrical panels are closed with covers securely fastened in place.
