29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1)(iv): The employer did not ensure that each user could demonstrate knowledge of how to inspect, put on, remove, use, and check the seals of the respirator: a) Production Area; On or about August 22, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees are given full face elastomeric respirators to use when compounding chemicals, such as but not limited to, hexavalent chromium, without receiving training on how to inspect, put on, and check the seals prior to using a full-face elastomeric respirator.
