29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings were not effectively closed: The employer does not ensure that unused openings in electrical disconnect panels are effectively closed. a) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the carpenter shop, two electrical panels were missing knockout covers, exposing employees to electrical hazards. b) This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2019, at the Renegade Rapids a 600 volt panel was observed missing a knockout cover, exposing employees to electrical hazards. c) This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2019, in the Ferris wheel control room, an electrical outlet was missing a knockout cover, exposing employees to electrical hazards. d) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, in the Games storage area, an electrical outlet was missing a knockout cover, exposing employees to electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure that unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings are effectively closed
