29 CFR 1910.265(c)(4)(v): Elevated platform(s), used routinely on a daily basis were not equipped with stairway(s) or fixed ladder(s) in accordance with 29CFR 1910.27: (a) Mill area: On or about October 21, 2015, and times prior, employees use boards and logs to gain access to and from the work platform/floor of the sawmill. (b) Planer area: On or about October 21, 2015, and times prior, a sawdust pile, measuring approximately 4-5 feet deep, is used by employees to gain access to the planer deck/ work platform. (c) Debarker: On or about October 21, 2015, and times prior, a stairway was not located on the end of a work platform that was 5ft. to the ground and used by employees to gain access to the mill and debarker.
