29 CFR 1915.504(c)(1): The employer had assigned other duties to a fire watch while hot work was in progress. Bldg 31C20T, Temporary Fabric Shelter, LCAC 90, LCAC 62: On or before March 14, 2024, the employer assigned other duties to fire watch to include organizing the work area and to throw away trash while work was in progress. Employer did not ensure that fire watch remained in the area for at least 30 minutes after completion of hot work. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to fire hazard(s).
