29 CFR 1910.255(b)(3): Interlocks. All doors and access panels of all resistance welding machines and control panels shall be kept locked and interlocked to prevent access, by unauthorized persons, to live portions of the equipment. a. At the workplace, in the processing area, resistance welding machine KVA 2, had two access panels on the back of the machine that were not locked or interlocked to prevent unauthorized access to live portions of the machine, exposing employees to an electrocution hazard.
