29 CFR 1910.242(a): Hand and portable powered tools or equipment were not kept in safe condition: A. Main Room, Front of Shop: On, or about, November 25, 2014, the lower blade guard had been removed from the Makita chop saw, Model LS1020, serial number 290037E. Also, the outer insulation on the power cord was damaged. B. Side Room, Front of Shop: On, or about, December 1, 2014, the lower blade guard had been removed from the Makita tilting miter saw, Model LS1013, serial number 280217A. C. Tool Storage: On, or about, December 1, 2014, the power cords provided on the Porter Cable orbital sander and Porter Cable belt sander had damage to the outer insulation.
