29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: a. On or about October 7, 2014, yard, effective hazard communication training was not provided on the health hazards of abrasive blasting agent that contains crystalline silica and paint converters that contain isocyanate. Employees who did abrasive blasting of metal structures for oil/gas drilling operations and employees who sprayed coatings on metal structures for oil/gas drilling operations were exposed to hazardous airborne chemicals that include but are not limited to isophorone diisocyanate and crystalline silica.
