29 CFR 1910.213(r)(1): The feed rolls of roll type glue spreaders shall be guarded by a semicylindrical guard. The bottom of the guard shall come to within three-eighths inch of a plane formed by bottom or contact face of the feed roll where it touches the stock. On or about September 12, 2023, at an establishment located at 5215 Mill Road in Laona, Wisconsin; in Plant B, the Union Tool Corporation Roll Coater/Glue Machine was not provided adequate guarding to prevent access to the feed rollers during operation exposing employees to ingoing nip point hazards.
