29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrical hazards from damaged power cords not removed from service. This was most recently documented on June 9, 2020 at the worksite located at 1921 West US Highway 50, Lone Jack, Missouri. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards such as electrical burns, smoke inhalation, and shock when using a damaged extension cord that had not been removed from service to power a Milwaukee Sawzall.
