29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Nonworking portion(s) of the blade of the bandsaw were not enclosed or guarded. In the mold shop, the employer did not ensure the Rockwell Model 14 Band Saw blade was guarded exposing employees to amputation hazards: a. The front point of operation did not have a guard exposing 5 inches of the blade, and b. The back portion of the blade was unguarded and exposed approximately 12 inches of the blade.
