29 CFR 1910.1018(k)(2): Floors and other accessible surfaces contaminated with inorganic arsenic shall not be cleaned by the use of compressed air, and shoveling and brushing may be used only where vacuuming or other relevant methods have been tried and found not to be effective. a. Kremer's Guns LLC located in Celina, Ohio: On or about May 21, 2015, the employer did not prohibit an employee from dry sweeping when performing bi-monthly cleaning of the shooting range. The employee swept the entire shooting range floor and all counter tops with a large broom to remove dust and shell casings. b. Kremer's Guns LLC located in Celina, Ohio: On or about April 22, 2015, the employer did not prohibit employees from dry sweeping when performing end of the day cleaning operations in the shooting range.
