29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i):Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder: Jobsite: a) On or about April 2, 2021, the extension ladder being used by an employee on the front of the building was not set at an angle approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder where the ladder was 20 feet high and the base was out over nine feet from the building. b) On or about April 2, 2021, the extension ladder being used by an employee on the side of the garage was not set at an angle approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder where the ladder was over 18 feet high and the base was out over nine feet from the building.
