29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Exigo Metal Works/Hillside, NJ- Production Area: The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain a written hazard communication program. Employees engaged in the metal finishing including electroplating, anodizing, and metal coating services used chemical products that included, but were not limited to: a) Klean-Strip Lacquer Thinner (which contains up to 50% Acetone, 31.5% Toluene, 35% Methanol, etc) b) Atlantic Phos 745RTS (which contains Phosphoric Acid) c) Polyester Crystal TGIC no lead UN-707730 (which contains Barium Sulfate, and Tiatium Dioxide, etc.) d) Chromic Acid Flake (which contains Chromium Trioxide 100%) e) Ultrex AF 28 MH (which contains Sodium Hydroxide) f) Hex a Gone Salts (contains Sodium Sulfate 50-60%, Potassium Sulfate 25-35%, Boric Acid 15-25%) g) Boric Acid (which contains Boric Acid) Condition observed on or about March 17, 2016.
