29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer shall establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided in this paragraph by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels. (a) Kill Plant - On or about October 11, 2012 a sanitation employee was exposed to continuous noise at 260% of the permissible daily noise (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 97 dBA during the 315 minute sampling period on 10-11-12. Exposure calculation included zero increment for the time not sampled. (b) Kill Plant - On or about October 11, 2012 a sanitation employee was exposed to continuous noise at 196% of the permissible daily noise (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 95 dBA during the 320 minute sampling period on 10-11-12. Exposure calculation included zero increment for the time not sampled. (c) Kill Plant -On or about October 11, 2012 a sanitation employee was exposed to continuous noise at 179% of the permissible daily noise (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 94 dBA during the 315 minute sampling period on 10-11-12. Exposure calculation included zero increment for the time not sampled.
