29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals: The employer is failing to adequately instruct employees on measures of protection from chemicals being used in the work environment. This violation was most recently documented on the kill floor, where employees are being exposed to chemicals such as but not limited to KC-615 Packers Chemical Inc. (health hazard 2) used in combination with Easyfoam VF32 (Corrosive, sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite), G-5 Quat (health hazard 3), and VF-10 Acid Foam Cleaner-Descaler (corrosive), without receiving instruction on the measures of protection from the hazards posed by these chemicals.
