29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1): Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer: a) Production Area; On or about August 22, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees are given full face elastomeric respirators to use when compounding chemicals, such as but not limited to, hexavalent chromium and are not required to clean and disinfect the respirators.
