29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: On or about 11/7/2019, at Assura Windows and Doors LLC, 1543 N Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. The employer did not have a program for inspecting mechanical power presses for uncovering unsafe conditions such as, but not limited to; broken and/or loose point of operation guards; lack of protection for and/or broken pedals; adjustment of single-stroke mechanisms, unguarded flywheels, etc.
