29 CFR 1910.1026(j)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of chromium (VI): (a) On or about July 7, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of chromium (VI). Chromium (VI) was present at 0.2818 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter wipe sample taken on the computer keyboard at the controls to the Vicon SR-45i Plasma Cutter. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
