29 CFR 1910.1000(c): 29 CFR 1910.1000(c): Employees were exposed to respirable dust, listed in Table Z-3, in excess of 5mg/m3 as an 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration: On or about January 7, 2015, an abrasive blast employees personal 8-hour time-weighted average (8-Hr TWA) exposure to respirable dust containing iron oxide, copper, manganese, vanadium and chromium was 22.662 mg/m3 during abrasive blasting operations using Black Beauty. This exceeded the OSHA 8-Hr TWA PEL for respirable dust by 4.5 times. Employees were exposed to the hazard of overexposure to respirable dust.
