29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: (a) Powder room - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the electrical equipment, such as lighting, electrical raceways, and conduit in a Class II Division 1 location was approved for a Class II, Division 1 location containing explosive 3M Scotchkote Fusion-Bonded Epoxy Coating dust accumulations exposing employees to explosion and fire hazards.
