29 CFR 1910.184(e)(1): Alloy steel sling(s) did not have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach. This violation was observed on or about April 17, 2023, employees are allowed to use alloy steel slings that did not have tags affixed to them identifying rating and capabilities. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to identification tags stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach are affixed to all slings.
