29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There shall be no damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating. On or about March 2, 2015, in the flooring department, the metal receptacle box near the door way, the conduit going to the metal receptacle box was pulled apart. The bushing on the metal receptacle box was damaged and the internal wires entering the receptacle were exposed. Employees exposed a potential electrical shock.
