29 CFR 1910.1053(j)(2): The employer did not post signs at all entrances to regulated areas that bear the following legend: RESPIRABLE CRYSTALLINE SILICA DANGER MAY CAUSE CANCER CAUSES DAMAGE TO LUNGS WEAR RESPIRATORY PROTECTION IN THIS AREA AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY (a) QuarryCut Inc. located at 77 Wells Road, Parker Ford, PA 19457: On or about March 12, 2024, the employer did not ensure that signs were posted at all entrances to regulated areas that state that respirable crystalline silica is expected to be in excess of the PEL. Employees are exposed to respirable crystalline silica while engaged in stone cutting operations.
