29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about January 25, 2024 the employer did not ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the chain and sprocket system of the parts washer/ cleaner. The exit side portion contained a chain and sprocket which supplied mechanical power to the rotating drum. There was no guarding in place while employees were operating the equipment.
