29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: The employer is failing to protect employees from caught between and amputation hazards related to maintaining, cleaning and clearing jams on the baler machine. This was most recently document on or about February 7, 2022 at the Mid Nebraska Disposal recycling center at 7337 West Blender Road, Grand Island, Nebraska. The employees were not instructed in the recognition of hazards associated with developing and implementing procedures for the control of hazardous stored energy to include but not limited to: Electrical, Hydraulic and/or Thermal.
