29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1): Abrasive wheel(s) were used on portable grinder(s) which were not provided with safety guard(s) meeting the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1) through (c)(4)(a): On or about May 8, 2019, in the fabrication department employees were exposed to rotating abrasive wheels while using portable grinders. The DeWalt grinders were missing the protective rotating wheel guards. Employees use the grinders on metal parts for shaping metal and removing weld.
