29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: The employer does not ensure that a above ground storage tank containing diesel fuel used at the facility is properly labeled or marked to indicate the tanks contents and hazards. This violation was observed on or about July 19, 2016 at the facility, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards. Contract Manufacturer dba CM Trailers was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316238658, citation number 1, item number 8, and was affirmed as a final order on October 17, 2012, with a final abatement date of September 28, 2012, with respect to a workplace hazard at 1102 N. Industrial Road Madill, OK 73446. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure the fuel tank is properly marked and labeled.
