29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): a. On or about October 7, 2014, paint building, the employer did not provide qualitative or quantitative respirator fit tests to employees who were required to wear elastomeric half face negative pressure air purifying respirators during spraying of primers and coatings on metal structures for oil/gas drilling operations which exposes employees to airborne chemicals that include but are not limited to isophorone diisocyanate, mineral spirits, xylene, n-butyl acetate, acetone, and parachlorobenzotrifluoride.
