29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Molding room/production area: On and prior to 3/27/14, for production employees using or exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to: AFCO cleaners and sanitizers (containing organic acids, peroxides, caustic, ammonium chloride, sodium metasilicate, and dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate)), Wyandotte sanifect wipes (containing ethanol), and nitrogen gas; training did not address the transition to GHS. (b) Compressor room: On and prior to 3/27/14, for maintenance employees using or exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to: anhydrous ammonia and refrigeration lubricant; training did not address the transition to GHS.
