29 CFR 1915.505(c)(1): Fire response employees did not receive medical examinations to assure that they were physically and medically fit for duties they were expected to perform. On or about March 15, 2024, onboard the Cuyahoga vessel moored at the Port of Ashtabula, Kinder Morgan Pinney Dock; Minnesota slip, A/B dock side, employees responded to a large fire in cargo hold #2 with fire extinguishers and the employer did not ensure employees received a medical examination prior to ensure fitness for duties.
